Olan! returns to his 0x01 Records this December with latest five-tracker entitled ‘Instrumental Convergence’.

Switzerland-based sound designer and live act Olan! is a rising talent and has been making serious headway in the scene since making his debut in 2013. The launch of his 0x01 Records imprint has cemented Olan! as a purveyor of vast techno soundscapes with tinges of tough experimentalism gaining support from the likes of B.Traits, Regal, Fernanda Martins, SLV and many more. His finely- tuned, live techno sets that can be heard across Europe and have taken the scene by storm cementing his position as one of the ’10 best live modular sets’ by Mixmag in 2018.

Opening cut ‘Wavenet Collapse’ combines raw percussion with electro-styled rhythms and acid squelches which all come together for this accelerated dancefloor gem, whilst ‘Assembler Intelligence’ takes a slightly darker approach as we see Olan! work powerful bass sequences amongst shattered synths and sinister filtered bursts.

The ominous vibe continues on title track ‘Instrumental Convergence’ as deep chords, soaring snares and melodic keys fuse together to take dancers through to another dimension. Next up, ‘Hey Was Bisch Am Mache’ which translates to ‘Hey, What Are You Doing Right Now?’ is built on captivating vocal chants, lively kick drums and punchy, oscillating grooves. To close, the shimmering, 303 featured techno roller ‘Iterated Amplification’ welcomes a notable addition to the artist’s growing catalogue and signals an impressive return to 0x01 in the process.
