01. The Cure
Right from the start that infectious groove sucks everything in like a black hole… this elixir is crafted with iconic McKay stabs, the drums slashes straight from right and left through the track. A resolution of this thrilling tension follows swiftly: this voice from almighty heaven cures you instantly from all your fears, the feeling of being unloved or your belief you can’t dance – truly a magic pill.
02. Trick Baby
Again another infernal groove hits you like a huge wave, dragging you underwater straight into a vortex of deep and dark sirens. Demanding stabs intensify the rapture of the deep. Ferocious tight drums won’t let you gasp for air…better take a deep breath before listening to this tune.
03. Kill Swith
Sharp crisp percussions lay themselves of these huge bodies of marching kickdrums, riding through a valley of lost souls and their voices from the depth.
04. Venom
Heads up! Whatever I said two tracks ago, this is the the arrival of the mighty emperor of thee Groove…rolling on top of a tank of steel percussions in a rhythmic discipline every dictator would go green with envy, but at the same time inclosing that magic amount of super swing and casual flow. Trumpets plus ambrosial and beatific vocals are finishing the scene.
Conclusion: Stomping gritty yet soulful techno at its best. Stabs! Vocals! Killer Drums! 6 out of 5 stars.
