Dast – Haradon (Etruria Beat, etb035)

Wednesday. Back to music. Dast strikes again! Read his story and the first review we wrote about him here. While we are still in Switzerland, we enjoy listening to this latest work, Haradon on Etruria Beat.
Enjoy it as well, friends.

01. Haradon (Original Mix)
Sunday. As every Sunday, many believers gathered for the holy techno mass. This is the moment of total extasy, rhapsody and blessedness. You confess everything to this understanding melodies and spirituell organ sounds and they leave no doubt which god to whorship … Praise the Techno Lord!

02. Haradon (Kevin De Vries Remix)
An arpeggiator filter chase, long ‘drumatic’ tension break, modulated melodies alongside deep sounding stabs. Exciting.

03. Ixor (Original Mix)
Compare the initial long build to a 1,5-hour ride to this warehouse party everybody talks about. Finally, you and your best friends reached the place. The huge gate opens, and the melody floods out of the building into your ear and into your mind. A déjà vu. You know this place, you know the situation, it’s was 20 years ago, but the feeling is pure and fresh like it was back then. Flashes of happiness heat your body up, this time you are grown up, back in the days it was something else … you enter the hall and finally it happens … the bass drum kicks in! Blessedness. Again!

04. Ixor (Pig&Dan Remix)
Deep grinding bleeps, tones, and sounds. It’s the 8 am remix which takes over now and announces the afterhour of this fabulous warehouse party. Yes, we love you.

Conclusion: Banger! Dast shows again his virtuosity, and both great sounding remixes still let the originals shine through. We assign the maxium score.
