SSOH head Claude Monnet teams up with Italian producer Francesco Tarantini to embark on a Cacao- infused release with two original tracks, with label heads K.E.E.N.E. and Viennese powerhouse Joyce Muniz on rework duties.
Opener Nopia is a slice of cinematic house, shuffling along a mix of acrobatic basslines and dreamy pads, accompanied by a sunny, hands-in-the-air vocal hook. Label heads K.E.E.N.E. tone down the radiance but instead manage to enhance the track’s relentless appeal with piano-laced buoyant synths that keep a constant undertone afloat.
Meridiano brings forth a relentless groove laid out through hypnotic percussion and a combination of lush vocals and chopped up loops. Always one to invigorate the mood, Joyce Muniz brings out the shadowy side of the track, with dark synths zig zagging around ample pads and spacious build ups.
