FHLR019 adds their first Canadian artists to the FHLR family.

The Accountant hails from Calgary where he runs the record label Eyethought Records. He collaborates with DJ RSSN from Montreal who brings in his industrial and hard techno influences, whereas Edmonton based producer w8Less shares his emotive, melodic and deep sounds. The trio runs under the unofficial artist moniker: Dodson.

‘Melting Pot’ kicks things off raw and hefty. Great cinematic atmosphere, with depth and contrast.

Following ‘Rye Brush’ is deep techno mixed with an exotic lead melody which sounds like the gamelan music from Bali, Indonesia. Calming and satisfying.

‘Prince’s Island’ turn that mood completely into intransigent and hard hitting techno characterized by unadorned sounds straight in your face and ears due to DJ RSSN influence on this tune.

The EP concludes with ‘Edge of Meaning’, great old school feeling of rhythm and an intriguing arpeggio. Perfect track to let the crowd breath while keep them dancing.
