Seelow – TFE XX4 (The Final Experiment, TFE XX4)

René Pawlowitz, most widely known as Shed, “is a man with many musical faces“. Seelow is one of them. Also, the styles he is kicking. But Techno depicts the centre within his sound universe, willingly influenced by the golden age of rave we talk about all the time in this blog. He nails it down to ’95 and ’96. Exactly. We were there too! Discover his whole music cosmos here, milestones on Ostgut Ton, 50Weapons and more. But first, lets have a listen to Seelow!

It feels like pitched down tribal Techno, but it remains just techno. Yes, the good old days’ kind of stuff. Tight drums mixed with simplified chord progression. Nothing more. Perfect for getting back on the ground in an uptempo techno set, the chords remind you to breath again… Breath in. Breath out.

Congratulations! You survived the rave of the night, now it’s afterhour time! Fortunately you don’t have to do much, the bassdrum drive you forward while the chords gently embrace you, take you by the hand and show the way to go. You highly appreciate this comfort, because the body is nicely beaten and got loose in the last 8 hours, and the mind-movie is now more in the head than the legs. Monday? Forget it! You will stay for a while…

Conclusion: Flawless techno.
