FHLR Music Podcast #006 w/ Pierpaolo Bonelli

Welcome back to the FHLR Musik Podcast. We are in full swing this month, 3 parties and two releases, our busiest month so far. The party at Kosmonaut was real fun, and we are looking towards Suicide Circus on Sunday into Monday, where the Horrorist is doing a live show and the newest Lauter Unfug member Circle of Life will come from Belgrad to join the party.

The Fehler Family is also growing fast and todays guest mix is the newest Member of Fehler Musik,
Pierpaolo Bonelli from Rome, bella Italia. His Release, FHLR #003 – I want you skin EP, will come out on 27th of October. I dropped my release a week ago, and it’s already supported by Richie Hawtin, Luigi Madonna, Sam Divine, Andi Durrant, Comuniça and Kiss FM!

Sooo, I hope to you see you guys on early Monday morning at Suicide Circus, and till then,
enjoy Pierpaolo in the mix.

Bio:

“Music spread posititivy and when you see the fire burning on the dancefloor it means that you could convert your vibrations into positive energy”

Pierpaolo Bonelli is a DJ and producer of techno music born in Viterbo 7-3-1993. He has been supported by international djs as Danny Tenaglia, Veerus & Maxie Devine, Mario Ochoa, Groove Cartel, Oscar L, Andrea Roma, Leonardo Gonnelli.
After a long time of experimentation under another name in the electronic music he became part of the Hoola Hop Agency’s roster, starting his actual project and sound.

He has published with the support of Hoola Hop Agency “Never Just”and “Can’t Stop”, under Ushuaia Records both tracks “Insanity” and “Dark Boost” and “Lord Town EP” for Ogopogo Records.
Recently Pierpaolo Bonelli has released the single “Pool Party” for Strakton Records, “Hybrid EP” on District Underground and new track “Saturn” for the italian label Adunanza Records.

New EP is coming soon.

Bonelli loves to thoroughly study the sound, getting all the influences by old classic and jazz vynils. He turns all his research and academic studies at Saint Louis College of Music of Rome into techno and tech-house productions that let him be one of the most talented upcoming italian producers.

All his productions are magnetic and biting, they run through the ears giving birth to a balance effect as a mantra and lirical singing. In this way Pierpaolo Bonelli became a confirmed performer during the clubbing nights in Middle Italy.
He also published several times with Strakton Records, District Underground, Ogopogo Records, Ushüaia Music, Fehler Musik and more.

“It seems rethoric but all the emotions and sensations that I feel during my life are the most important thing in all my productions”

Andre Crom – Rhea (Sleaze Records, SLEAZE135)

Pick of the week:
Andre Crom with Rhea on Sleaze Records, SLEAZE135.

Presse release:
Andre Crom makes his debut on Sleaze Records with a diverse 4 tracker of banging techno. Rhea kicks things off with an unsettling and energetic unquantised synth hook, slammed on a tight 909 beat. Pandora is a more straight affair, a heavily delayed chord meets overdriven drums to form a bigroom techno bomb. Phoebe again starts with an intense drum pattern, but then takes things into a deeper direction with its dreamy pad sequence. Finally, Tethys closes the EP, as an even more mental counterpart to ‘Rhea’ relying on similar drums, but introducing a tripped out synth hook and otherwordly textures and FX swooshes.

Various Artists – More Cuts On Loving – Part 2 (Ressort Imprint, RSI010.2)

Pick of the week:
Various Artists (Array Access, Denise Rabe, Glos, IY, Luis Flores) with More Cuts On Loving – Part 2 on Ressort Imprint, RSI010.2.

Press release:
Ekserd’s techno label Ressort Imprint returns for the second instalment of its two-part series ‘More Cuts On Loving’, this time inviting the likes of I/Y, Luis Flores, Denise Rabe, Glos and Array Access.

The Berlin-based platform was launched in 2013 and has since established a discography spanning Stranger, Gonzalo MD, The Plant Worker, Border One, Lee Holman and Strck. Dropping in 2016, Part One demonstrated the heavier end of techno whilst Part Two is angled towards a more abstract aesthetic.

German duo I/Y sets things into motion with ‘Memory Loss’, an atmospheric cut loaded with intricate nuances and echoing effects before Droid and Blank Code’s Luis Flores drops a low-end heavy number with sinister stabs and metallic synths named ‘Moral Divide’.

ARTS and MUTEWAX producer Denise Rabe’s ‘Return Of The Dash’ is next, a syncopated slice of techno possessing a medley of ominous elements before returning Ressort artist Glos serves up double-time kicks, dusky pads and otherworldly qualities in ‘Man Is The Cruellest Animal’.

Tying it all together, ‘Love Is Distraction’ by Array Access is a menacing cut with its sullen drones and subtle melodies.

Various Artists ‘More Cuts On Loving – Part 2’ drops on Ressort Imprint on 25th September 2017.

Tracklist: VA – More Cuts On Loving – Part 2 (Ressort Imprint, RSI010.2)
